This book is being created using woodcut plates cut on my GlowForge and then printed by hand. Each color is printed using a separate plate so I am required to limit my colors somewhat. But you can see on these test prints of the character designs that mixing and layering colors can create many different effects.
Cats - Character Design
I am working on a new book called ‘The Blessing’. In it each of the main characters has a cat. So I thought I would begin my character design with the felines. The visitor’s cat is an older wiser cat whereas the farm cat is more of a curious kitten.
